When to run it: introduce the constitution at your first meeting. Practice the norms live for the first few months. Run the distributed round around month three or four, once the group knows each other. Review it together once a year. Before you send, tell the forum the invitations are coming: a heads-up at the meeting beats any reminder we can send.
Purpose and confidentiality are richer discussed in the room. Schedule, retreat format, and attendance gather well through the round.

This is the constitution your members will receive, in the order they’ll read it. Edit any tenet with the pencil, remove one with the bin, and add your forum’s own at the end. What you write here is exactly what they see. The two foundational tenets can be reworded but not removed: a constitution without confidentiality or a way to amend itself isn’t one.

One address per line — every member except you. Each gets their own invitation with their own link; nothing for you to forward. Reminders go on their own at three days, six days, and the day before the deadline, at most three per member, and stop the moment someone submits.
What members see before submitting: a hesitation is printed in the document with no name attached; a “can’t live with it” must carry a reason and comes to you with their name — unless they choose not to be named, in which case the reason still reaches you and the tenet is resolved with the whole group instead of one-on-one.
Your confirmation email has the links for nudging and for compiling early. The finished constitution arrives on its own at your target, or the morning after your final date — whichever comes first.
