In brief

Once a quarter, one or two people from each active California HBS Alumni Forum meet on Zoom for an hour to compare how forums handle the problems all of them run into. We also confirm your forum's roster, moderator, and whether you're looking to add new members.

What happens

One hour, four times a year, on Zoom. One or two representatives per forum, from the roughly twenty forums active across California.

Representatives raise what their forum is working on and hear how other forums have handled the same thing.

After each Council, a short written summary goes to every California forum.

Who comes

Each forum sends one or two representatives, usually a member rather than the moderator. Rotating the role gives more members exposure to how other forums operate.

The roster

Each quarter, representatives also confirm their forum's roster, moderator, and whether they are looking to add new members. Keeping it current helps prospective members find the forums that are adding people.
